Folding this unique gift might look difficult but it really isn't! The design of the quillow allows for ease of folding back into a pillow shape so that it can be kept on your favorite sitting area all the time.
How to Fold a Quillow
Step 1: Lay the Quillow out on a flat surface
Step 2: Fold half of the Quillow towards the center, folding to the pillow seam on the back.
Step 3: Fold the other half of the Quillow towards the middle to the pillow seam, the halves will overlap slightly.
Step 4: Take the top of the blanket (not the pillow end) and fold it down to meet the top of the pillow on the back of the blanket. You shouldn't be able to see the pillow at this time, it's under the blanket, you're just using it as a reference for proper folding.
Step 5: Fold the Quillow one more time so all of the blanket is on top of the pillow (which is still on the back where you can't see it)
Step 6: Flip the entire Quillow over so the pillow is on top, Then reach inside of the Quillow with both hands and firmly grasp the corners at the top. Grab all of the fabric and pull the blanket into the pillow. (watch the video above for a visual). It requires you to use your wrists and arms twisting slightly and pulling the Quillow towards your body. It's easier the more you do it!
Step 7: Finish pulling the blanket into the pillow and smooth out the pillow. Pushing the corners of the pillow out completely to their point is helpful.

Shipping is available within the USA. Shipping will be calculated at checkout. If ordering more than one Quillow, please note that each Quillow will be shipped individually
No matter the delivery option you choose, Quillows take 6-8 weeks to complete after your order has been submitted. Please allow for 7-10 business days added to that if you choose the shipping option.

How do I get the clothing to you?
When you select the memory Quillow option you will be given directions on how to either deliver or ship your items to the design studio. Please note that all clothing items MUST be shipped within ONE WEEK of ordering.
What type of clothing is best?
Shirts are the best option, it can be a blouse, t-shirt, thin sweater or sweatshirt. The shirt MUST be at least 16 inches wide between the sleeves. Anything smaller than 16 inches is too small and can not be used.
Are there any types of clothing you do not accept?
Yes. Leather, blue jean material, polyester and thick sweatshirts are not
acceptable options for Quillows due to the nature of how the shirt fabric is attached to the rest of the materials.
Will I get any of the clothing back?
The majority of the clothing will be used in the creation of your Quillow. The small amount of fabric left over will be discarded.
How do I get the pictures to you?
After you have submitted your order you will be directed to a link where you will have the ability to upload your images. JPEG and PNG images are the two formats accepted. Clear images without blurriness are best. Remember when selecting images that these will be permanently on the Quillow.
How quickly will I get my Quillow?
Quillows take 6-8 weeks to create due to their one-of-a-kind nature. Shipping adds 7-10 business days to that timeline. There is a rush option available at checkout.

How do I see what color options are available?
When you are ordering your Quillow you will be able to see the available color options. I suggest if the Quillow is to commemorate a graduation, do the school or college colors. Same suggestion for a wedding. If the color you are wanting is not available please send a message to see if it is an option. Not all colors are available.
What type of wording can be put on the pillow?
Any wording (expect explicit words) are an option for the pillow of the Quillow. Suggestion for graduation is to put the name of the person and the name of the school or college and the year.
Being in God's word is where you will find me daily but you'll also see me behind the sewing machine too! Bibles, notebooks, fabric and yarn!
The idea of a quillow came from my sweet momma (in the picture with me). She made them as gifts for graduates from the local high schools, a true labor of love. Her heart was big and her hands were skilled. Creating ways to preserve memories for others and seeing the smile on their face brought her so much joy.
After she went to be with Jesus in late 2020 I knew I wanted to create similar memories for my children. The idea of using her clothing and creating a true memorial quillow is my own spin on her classic gift. My children still sleep with their 'Beep Beep Grandma' Quillows every night. It's the hug you can keep.
It is truly an honor to help preserve memories.! Whether the occasion is a graduation, wedding, birthday or memorial... I love hand crafting each one. The joy it brings is something no other gift can provide.
