I believe that the Bible, consisting of sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God given by divine inspiration and is inerrant in the original manuscripts. The Bible remains the unchanging authority in matters of Christian faith and practice. I believe the Bible was written for our instruction, not to us or about us.
I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and their ministry in today’s world.
I believe that because of sin, man is separated from God and in need of salvation which comes only through Jesus Christ.
I believe that salvation is by grace through faith in God. The Scriptures teach that believers may have the blessed assurance of being saved. One can know beyond doubt that her sins are forgiven and she is a child of God. Assurance of salvation does not negate personal responsibility. Upon salvation, the Holy Spirit begins a new work in the heart of all believers, transforming her more and more into the likeness of Jesus.
I believe that the Holy Spirit takes up residence in every believer upon the moment of salvation. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth.
I believe in the visible pre-millennial return of Christ.
I believe that all believers have been commanded to follow the Lord in water baptism, which is the outward sign of an inward work.
